Dear Members,
I, Satya Gudivada, would
like to congratulate and wish you, your
family, and Indian Diaspora a Happy 75th
Independence Year of India. The past few
years have been difficult due to the
pandemic situation. I express my sincere
thanks to the Government of India and for
the support provided by the community and
leaders during those difficult times. I am
overwhelmed with the India Association of
St. Louis’ leadership and with how the
community came together to support each
other to prove our belief “Vasudhaiva
Kutumbakam”.
I want to thank all of the
current members of the Board of Directors of
the association for electing me as President
of this noble organization to serve from
this day, August 1st 2022 to end of the
current cultural year, as our immediate past
President, Mr. Venkat Valluripalli, tendered
his resignation due to his personal reasons
on April 3rd, 2022, effective July 31st,
2022.
I wish to thank all
Presidents, Officers, Board of Directors,
Volunteers, and Members actively involving
in making a strong India Association of St.
Louis, MO, a non-profit organization
representing the Indian-American community
residing in and around the Greater St. Louis
area, with the goal of bringing the Indian
community together to celebrate
India’s cultural heritage, educate our
children about India’s history and
culture, promote better relationship among
communities, and assist people in times of
distress.
I welcome you all to join me
and our Board of Directors in celebrating
the 75th Independence Day of India and other
remaining activities and events for the rest
of the year. Further updates and event
schedules will be communicated.
Sincerely,
